"Dervish Turkish Restaurant - Jersey, NJ I had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The place is absolutely beautiful, with every detail carefully designed. The floral decorations and lights create a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for taking amazing photos. The space inside is very large, and I really appreciated that there is plenty of room between the tables, which makes everything feel comfortable and relaxing. The service was excellent, everyone was kind, attentive, and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of authentic Turkish flavor. From the appetizers to the desserts, and the beautifully served Turkish coffee and tea, everything was perfect. I also loved the soft Turkish music playing in the background, which added a lovely authentic touch to the whole experience. Another great thing is the huge free parking lot, which is very convenient. I truly adore the Turkish vibe of this place. The atmosphere, the food, and the service were all perfect. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back again. "

"We've tried the Dervish in Cedar Grove before and loved it -- but this location is actually even better! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and served fresh bread to start. We ordered the calf liver as a hot appetizer, followed by the mixed grill platter and onion lamb casserole as our main courses. Every dish was flavorful, tender, and authentically Turkish. For dessert, the kunefe was a showstopper -- perfectly crispy, sweet, and cheesy in the best way. The Turkish tea, served on the house, wrapped up the meal beautifully. The decor is stunning, the ambience lively yet cozy with live music in the background, and the service absolutely wonderful. Dervish has truly mastered the art of good food and good vibes -- this branch takes it to the next level! 100/100 for me "

"Beautiful restaurant with great food, but the service needs improvement. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous and the food was really good super flavorful and well prepared. Unfortunately, the service was very slow. Our server barely checked on us, and we had to practically chase her down just to get what we needed. It took away from the overall experience. I'd still come back for the food and the ambiance, but I really hope the service gets better."

"This restaurant was excellent all around. They've spent a lot of effort creating a fantastic experience where you'll feel like you were transported somewhere else. The food tasted excellent. We got the mixed special for 2, so we got a chance to taste the entire array of kebabs. The portions are generous and we had to box some and take it home. The service was excellent and the staff wanted you to have an excellent experience. If you like Mediterranean food and great coffee, you're going to love this place. The entire experience was great."

"Driving through NJ and craving Turkish food the closest one was Dervish, we stopped by and of course no reservations. We had to wait 10-15 min but got accommodation. Everything we tried was delicious, lentil soup, mixed grill for two was more than enough. The atmosphere was great, even that the place was full, you can have a good time and conversation there wasn't loud music just right."
